For more than a decade, Mr. Costello has directed CNFA's extensive agriculture development operations in the former Soviet Union, as well as in southern Africa and the Middle East. Since 1992, CNFA has managed over $150 million of U.S. Government resources to develop private agriculture and promote investment in Russia, Ukraine, and Moldova.
In 1992, Mr. Costello established CNFA's Agribusiness Volunteer Program, which has, with support from USAID, fielded over 500 U.S. agribusiness volunteers to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. Mr. Costello has over 25 years of senior executive experience in international business and economic development programs. He has served as chairman of the United States Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid. Previously, Mr. Costello was president and CEO of Helen Keller International, Inc. of New York. He is a graduate of Syracuse University.
