Hannah T. Fairbank is a Biodiversity and Natural Resource Specialist with the US Agency for International Development. Hannah focuses much of her energies at USAID on landscape-level biodiversity conservation, and sustainable natural resource management through program and policy design and management with an emphasis on Latin America and Asia. Before joining USAID, Hannah worked on community-based conservation, upland sustainable agriculture and micro-enterprise development with a farmer's cooperative in the Philippines.
Prior, Hannah worked in community conservation outreach in Guyana and completed a tropical ecology program in Ecuador. Domestically, Hannah has focused her professional efforts on landscape planning and conservation through Conservation International's People and Protected Areas division, The Vermont Forum on Sprawl, The Lake Champlain Land Trust and The Champlain Valley Greenbelt Alliance. Hannah holds a Masters in International Environmental Policy and International Economic Development at the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BS in Geography and Political Science from the University of Oregon.
