Dr. Suneetha Kadiyala is a Scientist at the Food Consumption Nutrition Division of the International Food Policy Research Institute. Her work focuses on the interactions between the AIDS epidemic and food and nutrition security and evaluating interventions aimed at responding to the food and nutrition insecurity effects of the epidemic.
She has authored several papers on this subject. Her past work also includes conducting research on issues related to scaling up community driven development initiatives and examining the determinants of HIV positive mothers' decision making in infant feeding choices. She has worked in India, Nepal and various countries in eastern and southern Africa. Suneetha Kadiyala received her PhD in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts University. She has a Masters in Nutrition Science from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India.
