2008 Capitol Hill Forum and Riley Memorial Lecture
Agriculture, the Fuel for Sustainable Economic Development
12:00 noon
February 28, 2008
Invitation
AIARD is pleased to announce the Capitol Hill Forum 2008, an educational event of the Association for International Agriculture and Rural Development (AIARD), the Borlaug Institute of Texas A&M University, the Riley Memorial Foundation, and the USDA National Agricultural Library. The forum will be held in the Rayburn House Office Building, beginning at 12:00 noon on February 28, 2008.
The Forum is intended to treat comprehensively the extraordinary roles of agriculture in economic development and improved human well-being around the world. To raise poor people from their condition, there are no substitutes to bettering agriculture! Although this is partially understood and appreciated, there is new evidence and truly exciting data that will be laid out for participants.
Mark your calendars and register if you plan to attend. We look forward to seeing you at this Forum!
