Elizabeth Leahy is a research associate at Population Action International (PAI) in Washington, DC. She has four years of experience in the field of international population and reproductive health.
Her current work focuses on the relationships between population age structure and broader issues of international development, and in advocacy efforts to alleviate global shortages of reproductive health supplies. She is the lead author of "The Shape of Things to Come: Why Age Structure Matters to a Safer, More Equitable World," published by PAI in April 2007. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in international relations from Knox College and is currently working towards a M.A. in international affairs at the George Washington University.
