AIARD Annual Meeting-Lightning Talks
Our 2015 Lightning Talk Presenters
The Planning Committee for the upcoming AIARD Annual Meeting is pleased to invite AIARD Members and others in the international agricultural and rural development community to participate in Lightning Talks.
2016 Lightning Talk Proposals are being solicited on the conference theme of "From the Ground UP: Generating Meaningful Local Solutions" and on five related sub-themes:
These topics are also the driving themes behind a white paper that AIARD is preparing for the new Administration.
We encourage submissions that focus on building local human and institutional capacity in the above areas.
Lightning Talks are a fast-paced, highly energetic delivery style. Lightning Talks are 5-minute presentations, with exactly 20 PowerPoint slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds. When one presentation ends, the next one begins. Presenters will then facilitate round table discussions with attendees for more in-depth discussion.
The Lightning Talks will take place on June 7, 2016 during the morning session of the AIARD Annual Conference.
Think creatively as you identify what you would like to submit as a potential Lightning Talk!
Lightning Talk Submissions are due by 11:59 PM EST on April 8, 2016.

- Research and Science
