Sandra E. Taylor is President & CEO of Sustainable Business International LLC, a consulting firm specializing in assisting global businesses with corporate social responsibility and sustainability programs, which she founded in 2008. She was previously senior vice president, Corporate Social Responsibility, for Starbucks Corporation from 2003 to 2008. Prior to joining Starbucks, Taylor served as Vice President and Director of Public Affairs for Eastman Kodak Company from 1996 until 2003, where she led government relations, international trade policy and corporate citizenship worldwide.
She has also held senior leadership positions with a number of other organizations, including ICI Americas Inc. and the European American Chamber of Commerce in the United States. Her early career included assignments in the US Foreign Service. Taylor sits on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including the Seattle Public Library Foundation, the Public Affairs Council, the National Center for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, INTIMAN Theatre of Seattle and the Women's Leadership Board of Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado Women's College and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
